FCA holds to claims ratio publication plans
The Financial Conduct Authority has reiterated that the publication of claims ratios remains its “preferred measure” for assessing the efficacy of general insurance add on products.
In a report on the sale of add-ons published yesterday, the FCA admitted that its plan had met with substantial opposition from the industry, but maintained it hopes to stick to its guns.
