UAE insurance sector expected to grow in 2013
The regulatory environment for insurers in the United Arab Emirates is challenging but should not scupper growth in the short term, according to AM Best.
The ratings agency expects insurers in the UAE to see strong continued growth in 2013, despite a projection that the UAE's economy will expand at a slower pace, reflecting a reduction in oil output.
