Insurers not spared Cyprus haircut

Cypriot insurance companies will be affected by a bail-in on deposits, contrary to previous reports.

According to Reuters, the central bank said that insurance companies, charities and private educational institutions would have to take a 27.5% impairment on their savings in Bank of Cyprus.
