South Korea hit by second typhoon in a month
Typhoon Sanba made landfall on 17 September just before noon local time in South Gyeongsang Province on the southern coast of South Korea, according to catastrophe modeling firm Air Worldwide.
Maximum sustained winds at landfall were around 150km/h, equivalent to a Category 1 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Scale.
Sanba subjected South and North Korea to winds and heavy rain in its north
