Total UK GI premiums rose 5% in 2010
UK general insurance premiums increased by 5% in 2010 to £46.4bn, according to the Insurance 2011 report by TheCityUK.
It said gross premiums on the London Market were conservatively estimated at £36.9bn in 2010, up 2% on the previous year. Lloyd's generated 53% of identified London Market premiums, the company market
