The number of insurers rejecting new business amid ongoing seismic activity in Christchurch is escalating rapidly, according to an expert from Fitch Ratings in Australia.
Two weeks after Ecclesiastical subsidiary Ansvar announced that it had ceased writing commercial earthquake cover in New Zealand, John Birch, director of financial institutions at the global ratings
