LSB referral fee advice slammed as 'mistaken'

The Ministry of Justice has been urged to disregard the "mistaken" advice of the Legal Services Board and ban referral fees, as lawyers and insurers joined forces to criticise the decision.

The long-awaited LSB report was published on Friday, recommending the impact of the payments be managed, rather than an outright ban on referral fees. It called for consumers to be made aware of when
