Chaucer profits fall due to cat exposure
Chaucer has attributed its fall in profit and property underwriting loss to its exposure to global catastrophes.
In its 2010 annual results, the Lloyd's insurer posted pre-tax profit of £32.9m - a 22% decrease on the £42m for 2009 - and an overall combined ratio of 99% (2009: 93%). Its property division reported
