Credit hire claim reduced by £20 000 as case is re-heard

The credit hire claim of Premier League footballer Darren Bent has been reduced by £20 000 after a court case involving Allianz and Accident Exchange was re-heard at Cambridge County Court.

Bent v Highways and Utilities Construction & Another, was first heard in March 2010, when Lord Justice Jacob questioned whether credit hire should only be available to claimants who cannot afford spot
