Biba concern over EC tax proposal
The British Insurance Brokers' Association has raised concern over European Commission plans for a new continent-wide tax regime aimed at stabilising the financial services sector.
In a communication to European Union finance ministers, the EC outlined plans for a financial activities tax that would levy the profits and remunerations of financial services firms across the region
