Most of us will no doubt have been taken in by the 'buy one, get one free' offers that litter the aisles of supermarkets — and ended up with two of something we had no intention of buying. It is thus with some interest that Post this week reports that the claims management company LAS plans to offer something "for free" that is notably different to washing detergent or chocolate biscuits.

LAS is effectively looking to offer household loss adjusting for no extra cost to insurer clients who are using its validation and fulfilment offerings.
