Shadow Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Mark Hoban MP, is due to address members of the Post Business Leaders Forum at its annual Parliamentary Reception next month (7 October), hosted by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Insurance and Financial Services.
The forum is designed to provide its members - chief executives and board directors at the UK's major insurers - with opportunities to meet and debate with senior figures from across the political, business and regulatory world.
The BLF is sponsored by Enterprise Rent-a-Car, IBM and Tata Consulting.
Previous BLF speakers have included: Ed Balls, (then) Economic Secretary to the Treasury; George Osborne, shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer; Hilary Benn, Environment Minister; Douglas McWilliams, economist; as well as City analysts and leading figures from the Financial Services Authority, Amicus, Business in the Community, Publicis, Henley Centre and the CEOs of businesses such as the Post Office.
