Penny Black’s Insurance Week: 2 July 2015
The industry’s unsung heroes, the brave souls in the marketing and PR teams who have to get pestered by Post journalists on a weekly basis, gathered in London for the inaugural Insurance Marketing and PR Awards on 26 June.
Penny was on hand to see the finalists and winners enjoy the stunning Sky Bar at the Grange St Paul's Hotel before tucking in to a spectacular lunch. The last award was the achievement award, which went to FWD founder Michael Gaughan, who Penny understands was undecided about whether to attend the event or spend the day at the races in Goodwood. She feels he made the right choice in the end.
