WWF report suggests the Prestige oil spill is costly than originally thought

The oil spill caused by the sinking of the oil tanker Prestige in 2002 is still polluting the coastlines of France and Spain, according to a new report.Written by the WWF, the study claims that up to 5-10,000 tonnes of oil are still floating in the seas around the wreck and that another 15,000 tonnes remain inside it.The Prestige sank off the coast of Galicia in north-west Spain in November 2002. The events leading up to its sinking, when the Spanish government ordered the damaged ship away
